The WGCU Public Media App offers a range of functionalities that allow you to have a more immersive experience with WGCU. With the app, you can easily listen to WGCU live, pause and rewind the audio, and access the WGCU program schedule all in one place. Additionally, you can explore a variety of On Demand content, search for specific stories, bookmark content for later, and even set an alarm clock to wake up to WGCU!

<li>Live Streaming: The app provides DVR-like controls for the live stream, allowing you to pause, rewind, and fast forward at your convenience. You can easily pick up where you left off and catch any missed comments. Plus, you can enjoy WGCU even while traveling without any hassle.</li>
<li>Integrated Program Schedules: The program schedules for all WGCU stations are conveniently displayed in one place. You can select up to three favorites at a time or view the schedules for all your preferred stations with just one flick.</li>
<li>Background Listening: You can listen to WGCU in the background while multitasking, whether it's browsing the web or attending to your emails.</li>

The app also offers On Demand features that provide easy access to public radio and TV programs from various content providers such as WGCU, NPR, and PBS. With DVR-like controls, you can pause, rewind, and fast forward through programs effortlessly. When listening to national programs, individual story segments are listed for your convenience.

Sorting through past programs is straightforward with the app's easy-to-navigate interface. Moreover, when accessing On Demand content, the app displays the associated web page so that you can explore for additional information.
